One of the most common ordering mistakes is getting the motor rotation wrong. Here is a simple explanation.
What CW and ACW Mean
Rotation is described as viewed from the shaft (fan) end. CW = clockwise, ACW (or CCW) = anti-clockwise. The fan blade is designed for one direction — reverse it and airflow drops drastically.
How to Identify
Look at the original motor label or watch which way the existing fan spins. If unsure, note your AC brand and model — we can tell you the correct rotation.
Why It Matters
An incorrectly rotating fan reduces heat exchange, raises compressor load and increases power bills. Always confirm rotation before ordering. Ashu Motors stocks both CW and ACW variants across all series.
